Aging rock titans R.E.M. continue their career revival with the video for "Hollow Man," — one of the best tracks from the band's speedy comeback album Accelerate. The video has nothing to do with the Kevin Bacon film of the same name. Instead, it's a fast-paced explosion of lyrics and color that looks more like Michel Gondry directing the best American Apparel ad ever. Definitely a step up from their mock newscast for "Bad Day."

In related news, R.E.M. just released a special single for last weekend's Record Store Day and will hit the road for a national tour with Modest Mouse and the National next month.
